Module 0: Self Introduction
Hello, everyone! My name is Noor, and I’m currently working as a Senior Configuration Management Analyst at RTX. I graduated last year in 2023 from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, right here in Tucson, with a bachelors in MIS. It feels great to continue on my career journey close to home, surrounded by my family, familiar faces and the community that shaped my path.
I was born and raised in Tucson, and despite having spent my whole life here, I still have a deep appreciation for the nature and the city’s laid back atmosphere. I’ll admit, the summer heat can be intense, which is why in the past I would escape to spend summers in Palestine, my second home, where I get a different taste of culture and am surrounded by family .
Outside work, I’m all about family time, often in the form of lively Catan game nights that, inevitably, spark some "friendly" debates. I also enjoy weightlifting to balance out sitting on a desk for 11 hours a day. I also love fostering cats; I believe the cat count is about 90 at the moment. I have my permanent furry family members: two little girl rats and a cat, who is not even cautiously curious about the rats but prefers to keep a completely away.
Looking forward to sharing more on here and connecting with you all!

Hi Noor,
ReplyDeleteIt’s great to meet you! Your journey from graduating with an MIS degree to working as a Senior Configuration Management Analyst at RTX is impressive, and it’s inspiring to see you continue to grow your career in the same community that helped shape it. Staying connected to your roots and family in Tucson, while also having that cultural link to Palestine, gives you a unique perspective and must bring a lot of richness to your life.
Your love for Catan game nights sounds like so much fun—friendly debates are just part of the charm of board games! It’s wonderful that you balance your busy work life with weightlifting and fostering cats. Ninety cats fostered is an incredible achievement and shows a lot of dedication and compassion for animals. And it’s adorable that your cat and little rats coexist so peacefully!
Looking forward to learning more about your experiences and insights as we go through this course!
Hi Confido. Thank you for the kind words! Absolutely, it has definitely shaped my perspective on a lot of things, and I love staying connected to both . Catan nights are a highlight—debates are all part of the fun! Fostering cats has also been incredibly rewarding, and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. My little crew do keeps things lively!
